With this Animation degree, you’ll develop your creative and technical skills, build professional practice approaches and hone your personal identity and autonomy within animation production. You’ll master the art of your specialism in either 2D, 3 D or stop motion animation and learn to present and pitch your ideas. Mirroring industry, you’ll also contribute to multidisciplinary teams to produce exciting, unique productions.
On Artificial Intelligence for Games you’ll not only gain a full knowledge of AI, but skills in the broader games industry context too. This will cover AI from genetic programming and fuzzy-logic systems, to deep learning and monte-carlo tree search. Simon Birch
Senior Lecturer, BA(Hons) Dance & Choreography. Freelance choreographer, rehearsal director, mentor, and yoga teacher. Awarded with Wooda Art Award in 2008 and a choreographer on the International Dance Course for Professional Choreographers and Composers in 1995 directed by Sara Rudner and Nigel Osborne.

Tabatha Andrews
Andrews studied at Glasgow School of Art, Slade School of Art and the Skowhegan School of Art, Maine. She was Artist in Residence at Gloucester Cathedral in 2002-3, making works with the cathedral community, and has completed commissions for the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trust, the Whipple Museum of Science in Cambridge, the Monument to the Fire of London, Plymouth Art Weekender and many other venues.

Jesse Alexander
Jesse has taught photography extensively and in a range of educational contexts, with a specialism in distance learning and since March 2016 has been Senior Lecturer and Course Coordinator of the MA Photography (online) at Falmouth University.

Angela Annesley
Senior Lecturer, BA (Hons) Film and A former journalist, magazine editor, sub-editor, and graphic designer, she has worked for the Sunday Times, the Financial Times, English Heritage, Blue Plaque Poets, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Business Age, Accountancy Age, and many others in both staff and freelance roles.
