Each student is assigned a personal, state-of-the-art workstation. Asset Creation is a term used in the CG industry for the creation of all bits and pieces, both big and small, used in Film and Games. This Asset Creation program is designed to train working artists in the CG Industry for the roles of Props & Environments for Film, Characters & Creatures for Film, Environments for Games as well as Characters & Creatures for Games.

Mirko Grillini
Lecturer (Screen) – Graduated in performing arts in the early 2000s, he is an accomplished actor with over 200 screen productions and countless live performances, including roles in Narnia, The Leftovers, and Joe Exotic. Mirko is also a director and writer, winning several awards.

Kerrith Atkinson
Lecturer (Theatre) – Kerith, a graduate of the QUT Academy of the Arts Acting strand, has an extensive theater background, having performed in various plays for Queensland Theatre Company, La Boite Theatre Company, Now Look Here, Ellen Belloo, Kooemba Jdarra, and other independent theater companies.

Misch Reinthal
Lecturer (Sound Design) – Mischa Reinthal, a fourth-generation professional performing artist, is a versatile creator with skills in music composition, performance, and production in various styles and genres. Mischa was the frontman and composer for the band Hungry for Lydia and the musical theatre group Skeleton Quay, known for their emphasis on technicality and production value.

Sherri Smith
Lecturer (Acting) – Sherri has extensive experience in movement and has expanded her skills in acting and combat disciplines. She has performed on stage, screen, and in interactive theatre productions including solo-actor performances in ‘Animal Farm’, Lady Capulet in ‘Romeo & Juliet’ and MJ in ‘Mania’ at Brisbane Arts Festival.
