The Academy of Information Technology (AIT), also known as the Creative Technology Educators, is a higher education and vocational institution based in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia. Founded in 1999, the institution specializes in digital media, information technology, and business. It is a member of the RedHill Education group and is recognized as a quality tertiary education provider by the Australian government’s Tertiary Education Quality & Standards Agency and the Australian Skills Quality Authority. Asset Creation is a term used in the CG industry for the creation of all bits and pieces, both big and small, used in Film and Games. This Asset Creation program is designed to train working artists in the CG Industry for the roles of Props & Environments for Film, Characters & Creatures for Film, Environments for Games as well as Characters & Creatures for Games.

Dr. Helen Goritsas

Senior Lecturer and Course Coordinator, of the Bachelor of Interactive Media – a Ph.D. in Screen Arts, Helen teaches filmmaking and film studies with passion. Helen hopes to bring out students’ best abilities in making films at AIT.

AIT-Vasilios
Vasilios Moutafis

Academic Teacher – Games Developer and Co-Director at toybox Games Studios – Vasilios is the lead technical artist, senior animator, and combat programmer on the Primordials Legends franchise. His core passion for developing games lead him to pursue his career as Game Lecturer.

AIT-Sandra
Sandra Luu

AIT Academic Teacher – Sandra Luu is an academic teacher at the Academy of Information Technology. For almost a decade, she has been honing her skills in the higher education sector, working extensively in the field of interactive media. She has in-depth experience developing and teaching practical workshops and higher education courses.

AIT-Roshan
Roshan Weerasuriya

Academic Teacher – Roshan is an IT lecturer and subject coordinator for AIT’s Bachelor of IT courses, which cover games programming and mobile app development. Roshan teaches Java, Digital Project Management, Discrete Mathematics, Foundation Networks, Mobile Apps Android/iOS, Enterprise Systems, Introduction to Web, C++, Database Systems, and Advanced Studio.
