The minor in Video Game Design provides an interdisciplinary perspective and skill set focused on the creative elements of video game development.
Our program is designed so students experience multiple genres and experiment with hybrid literary forms. Our aim is to offer a full immersion in what we call “literature in motion”—in the boundary-fluid nature of literary production.
You can perform in a dance company, or on Broadway, or do commercial work. Pursue a number of different careers including dance therapy, arts management or teaching dance in schools or at a private studio.
Hone your artistic skills, build a strong portfolio and make the connections you need to launch a rewarding career in the music industry. This minor opens the door to a wide range of professional paths, such as sound technician, audio engineer, recording specialist, studio manager, producer and audiovisual specialist.
You can pursue roles in the music industry, including performance, composition, radio, recording, publishing and presentation. With a degree in music education, you can become a K–12 classroom music instructor or private teacher. Or you can be involved in community engagement through music.
