What will you learn?
This course on Abstract FX in Houdini focuses on using Houdini outside the traditional FX pipeline. In this course, Houdini will be used as a design tool for abstraction and non-traditional FX. This course will be inspired by the different forms from nature and architecture through creating procedural networks that capture their essence of them.
By the end of the course, students will be able to use small tools and concepts that can be used as building blocks for larger ideas and visions. The goal is to get the students to think procedurally, embrace the core concepts of Houdini, and broaden your toolset to drive you into new creative areas.
